Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)

   “Aiming for Safety”

The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) is required in Canada to possess or acquire restricted firearms. The course is designed for persons who have never handled a firearm. However, even students with considerable firearms experience have benefited from the information contained in the course.

Students are required to pass a written and practical exam, in order to apply for a Restricted Possession Acquisition License endorsement.

Passing the exams demonstrates the knowledge and skill you have gained in the course. The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is a prerequisite to the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course. If you have taken the CFSC within the past thirty days, the CRFSC consists of additional four hours of instruction.
